Mark

Mark’s journey began as chief tea-boy at CAD Associates in Lincoln.

Under their tutelage he graduated to coffee, and eventually Friday lunchtimes at the local. After six years working on numerous and varied projects, including prestigious projects such as The Lincoln University Student Accommodation Phases II and III, and studying for his BA (Arch) on a part-time basis, Mark relocated to Leicester to further his studies full-time.

During his final year studying for his Graduate Diploma in Architecture, Mark worked part-time for KPW Architects in Leicester. Following completion of his studies, he was taken on full-time, which allowed him to fund his insatiable appetite for festivals, live music and a battered old VW camper van. During his five years at KPW, he worked on a multitude of projects from small residential designs for private clients through to large-scale residential developments for housing associations and house builders, retail schemes, extra-care facilities and educational establishments. He also made ‘the best tea this side of the River Soar.’

In 2007, Mark took the opportunity to go freelance working with private developers and private clients before establishing Verve Architecture in April 2009.

He now makes a pretty mean brew . . in between being leapt on by his three small children!!
